prayer unity at Unity Conference
During the closing ceremony of Islamic Unity Conference, Magrib prayers was performed by Ayatollah Araki, to the Shais and Sunni guests. Isha prayers was followed by Shaikh Qadhi Sharef al Deen, Sunni Imam of Friday prayers, (you may see the unified prayers in our photo gallery).
However, in cyberspace with some fake pictures being spread, some people want to scratch the unity of Muslims. It really does raise the question that who is doing such things and for what reasons! Are they not acting opposite to Islamic and Qur'anic teachings?
The former great leader, Imam Khomaini has said: 'We are equal, united and brothers with Sunnis. If someone wants to differentiate between us, than he is either ignorant or is trying to make intrigue between Muslims'.
